2 Corinthians 12:9
But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
 
While painting this, I was thinking about the boldness of David. Before him, others tried to kill the giants but in vain. David went there, knowing that His God is Greater and so Goliah was made K.O with only a sling. We should have this kind of confidence. Whatever you are facing, always remember: God is Greater.
 
Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

"Il mio Dio sconfigge i giganti"

Ed Egli mi ha detto: «Ti basta la mia grazia; la mia potenza infatti si manifesta pienamente nella debolezza». Mi vanterò quindi ben volentieri delle mie debolezze, perché dimori in me la potenza di Cristo. 
 
Mentre dipingevo, pensavo al coraggio di Davide. Prima di lui, diversi avevano provato a sconfiggere i giganti, invano. Ma Davide è andato lí, con la confidenza che il Suo Dio è Piú Forte e cosí Golia, con una semplice fionda, è stato messo K.O. Questa è la confidenza che dovremmo avere. Qualsiasi cosa tu stia affrontando, ricordati sempre: Dio è piú forte.
 
Filippesi 4:6-7
Non angustiatevi di nulla, ma in ogni cosa fate conoscere le vostre richieste a Dio in preghiere e suppliche, accompagnate da ringraziamenti. E la pace di Dio, che supera ogni intelligenza, custodirà i vostri cuori e i vostri pensieri in Cristo Gesú.
