God will help you

One evening, 2 weeks ago, I had the feeling that I had to listen to a video of Juan Carlos Harrigan and, going to his YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@juancarlosharriganoficial ), I found out he was live.

The sermon encouraged me, so I want to share the notes I took in hope that it encourages you too.😃 No matter what our circumstance is: God is for us and with us.

We will come out victorious💪😃

In the speech, Juan Carlos stated that the same mouth that gave us words of death (i.e. discouraging), will be the same that will give us life. This means that the people who "cursed" us will be the same ones who will bless us.

Then he said that God will strengthen us.

He mentioned Joseph (maybe you know him as Joseph the king of dreams) and said that the dream is still alive.

Joseph had received a dream from God: the sheaves of his family bowed to him. His brothers, hearing this, threw him into a pit and told their father that he was dead. This led Joseph to become a slave but to find himself positioned exactly where he had to be to be able to see what God had shown him come true.

He reminds us that God is a God of miracles, that EVERYTHING is possible with Him.

He spoke about Psalm 34 (Verse link: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Salmi%2034&version=NR2006 ) and explains to us that David at that time was running away from Saul but despite this, he blessed God.

Because his soul rejoiced and found comfort in God, despite the problems. The persecution did not take David's eyes away from God, from His promises.

Psalm 34:4

I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.

David was afraid of being captured and killed by Saul. He was in a metaphorical storm. But he did not let his fear dictate his words. Fear did not take away his faith and hope. David sought God and was freed.💪💖 We must not be paralyzed by fear but we must move. Because God can free us from any fear.

Juan Carlos then listed 3 of the main fears:

• The fear of being alone

Isaiah 41:10 (part 1)

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

• Of being helpless

e.g. when one becomes old

Isaiah 41:10 (part two)

I will strengthen you and help you;  I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

I will be your support. I will give you strength. Strength so that you can fulfill God's purpose for your life💖

Psalm 46

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.

God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; He lifts His voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth.

He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields with fire.

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Our refuge. Estoy asegurado (= I am assured), our help is in the Lord who made heaven and earth. God will fulfill the dream that is in your heart.

Psalms 34:7

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and He delivers them.

• Criticism, persecution.

Don't do things out of fear. You get to an age where you regret not having done things. God wants you to live a full, abundant life.

Do not fear when everything is dark, when there is a Goliath (a giant), because God is light and He is with us. Move forward in faith.

Psalm 23:4

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

They comfort me.

Psalm 23:5

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

In the presence of my enemies

Psalm 23:6

Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

GLORY ending.

Teaching

•There will be difficult times but let us advance in these moments.

• Do not fear. Do not be paralyzed because God is with you.

• God will help you.

Be brave, courageous. When you go into deep waters, God is with you.💪💖💕

Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
